If you have any questions feel free to reach out to this email address.
Some frequently asked questions are:
What is the time commitment for the team?
A: We will be training X times a week, on xxxday and xxxday evenings. Our training venues are Sigmar Field, Albert Haller fields, and Memorial Field. We will play 5 home games at Memorial Field and 5 away games against teams in Seattle, Bremerton, Tacoma, etc. Training will start in late March whilst the matches will be played between late April, and the first of July.
What is the age range for the team?
A: The only age requirement is that you must be 16 years old by May 2023. Other than that, if you’re good enough you will play, regardless of age.
What if I’m currently playing for another team (e.g high school)?
A: There is no deadline on player registration in the Cascadia Premier League. That means that players can join the team anytime during the season. Ideally we have a full roster at the start of preseason but we will be joined by several high school players
What if I’d like to try out but I am unavailable on the day of tryouts?
A: Either note that on the “Comments” section of the online Tryout Registration, or shoot us an email and explain the situation. You will be able to walk on a training session to be assessed.
What if I’m only available for part of the season?
A: Again shoot us an email and explain. Turnover during the season is to be expected, that is why we try to make a decent-sized roster.
If you have any other remaining questions please do not hesitate to reach out!
This club is still new to the region with 2023 only being our third season. The previous two years were a great success on and off the field. We really need to build on that success and we cannot do it without the soccer community behind us. We’re doing well in terms of league standing, staff, sponsorships, and fanbase. Our main challenge will lie in establishing a healthy and committed player roster.
If you’re not sure if you’re good enough or fit enough, come to the tryout and test yourself! We have plenty of spots to fill. Spread the word!
